English Language (5 Oct 2009 - Monday)
Paper 1 :
Time : 0800 - 0945
Venue : 3E6 Classroom
Things To Bring : Stationeries (Pens, Pencils, Eraser, Ruler etc. NO Correction tape/fluid)
Information : Section A - Free - Writing (30m), choose 1 out 5 questions set. Leave a line when writing. Read instructions carefully. Section B - Situational Writing (30m), 1 compulsory question, use correct format, address ALL points given, leave a line when writing, read instructions carefully.Remember to tie a string around your script even if there is only 1 sheet of paper.

Paper 2 :
Time : 1030 - 1210 (Be back in class by 1015)
Venue : 3E6 Classroom
Things To Bring : Refer to Paper 1
Information : Section A - Comprehension (20m), read passage carefully and answer ALL questions. Remember what Mr Pang said about 'In Your Own Words' and 'Disguise Vocabulary' questions. Write ALL answers in complete sentences paying attention to the sentence structure & grammar. If answers are required to be written on writing papers, leave a line after every question, Vocabulary (5m), answer ALL 5 questions by either substituing a word or a phrase of NO MORE THAN 7 WORDS. AVOID USING'and','or' & ','.
Section B - Summary (25m), Read instructions carefully and leave a line when writing. Your summary must have 15 points and TRY to use your own words. Remember to use NET QNS!!! Remember to tie a string around your script even if there is only 1 sheet of paper!!!
